The visit and presentation of AVC’s Academic Director Dr. Hasmik Khalapyan to the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Canoga Park, USA extended the prospects of collaboration with the school, which has been one of the dedicated users of AVC’s Hybrid Education Program for years.
On January 11, 2017, Dr. Hasmik Khalapyan paid a visit to the partner school to specifically illustrate AVC’s Hybrid Education Model to the high school and elementary school teachers and integrate them into the program.
Dr. Khalapyan’s speech began with the presentation of the variety of online educational opportunities available at AVC, both for teachers and students. Then, she placed the emphasis on the AVC Hybrid Education Program, a system that incorporates the benefits of both online and onsite education. She showcased how successfully the model has been implemented in numerous Armenian community schools and centers, among them the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian High School, which has been utilizing the program since Winter Term 2011 by taking the AVC Architecture and Music courses. The school teachers learned how the school could adopt the blended education program into their curricula, allowing them to innovatively and attractively meet the needs of today’s students.
The event ended on a promising note as many teachers expressed a desire to join and leverage the AVC Hybrid Education Program.
